38th Annual NMA GRAND NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
Qualified Racers - JULY 21-JULY 27, 2013

We are proud to continue our tradition of presenting the original championship motocross in the great state of Oklahoma at a first class motocross facility, the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex. OMC is located just south of Oklahoma City in Norman on I-35 at exit 106. At Norman you will find great hotel/motel accommodations, restaurants and shopping close by the track. And of course, OMC has a world class championship go-kart track on the property next to the motocross track. Here's the line-up for the week's activities:

Anyone who arrives early can park in the designated pre-park area on the OMC property before the gates open at no charge. Vehicles will be lined up in order of arrival.

SATURDAY, JULY 20 – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We will begin the pre-park procedure. Vehicles will be numbered by our personnel. An office is set up at the pre-park area and during the hours above you will be able to purchase your event wristbands and pit parking pass.

SUNDAY, JULY 21 – 8:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m.

The park will open for everyone at 8:00 a.m. starting with Row 1.

POST ENTRY: Racers who have qualified in their respective regions and not pre-entered may post enter on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. To 5:00 p.m. at the NMA registration building.

TECH INSPECTION: Tech Inspection will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the shaded structure behind the start. All participants will enter the park on Sunday with their racing equipment and present their bikes for tech inspection. All bikes go through tech and receive a tech sticker which must remain on the bike throughout the entire event.

RIDERS MEETING: A rider's meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. This is an informative meeting held at the finish line and will provide you with event information so you will enjoy your week and race time. At this time we will introduce race officials and demonstrate start procedure, go through the daily activities and answer any questions at the end of the meeting.

MONDAY, JULY 22

Gates Open at 6:30 a.m. The entire day will be for practice for all classes and cycles beginning at 8:00 a.m. The practice schedule will be posted on the line up board on Sunday afternoon. The race sequence will be posted on line up board Monday afternoon.

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY, JULY 23 – JULY 26

Gates open at 6:30 a.m. and racing will begin at 8:00 a.m. per sequence on the line up board. On Friday, all class winners will be presented a certificate for the Go-Kart track. If your racing is completed by Friday and you win trophies, you will be able to pick up on Friday.

SATURDAY, JULY 27

Gates open at 6:30 a.m. The remaining events to be run will begin at 8:00 a.m. per sequence on line up board. After completion of all racing activities, awards will be available for pick up. Trophies are awarded FIRST thru TENTH max. If less than 30 entries, trophies will be based on 30% of entries in the class. If you win a trophy and you are not able to pick it up, be sure to have someone there who can claim it for you.

FEES

Electrical: Call Oklahoma Motorsports Complex to reserve at 405-579-2777. Make your reservation by July 17th.
Gate Fees: $60.00 per person for event wristband
Pit parking: $80.00 event pit parking includes towed vehicle
Additional parking fees for pit bikes, ATV and gold carts as posted.
Starting Tuesday, price of wristbands will be prorated at $10.00 per day. No one-day wristbands are available until Friday.

Race Entry Fees:
Pre Entry - $80.00 per class amateur classes
Pre Entry - $80.00 per class pro classes
Post Entry - $120.00 per class amateur classes
Post Entry - $120.00 per class pro classes

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION:

  • Numbers on bikes are your NMA assigned number listed on your current NMA Competition License. All bike numbers and jersey and/or chest protector numbers must be the same.
  • A MINOR RELEASE/PARENTAL CONSENT FORM is required to compete at the event for all participants less than 18 years of age. There will be check in at registration upon arrival to execute the form and to verify race entry and classes.
  • If a minor participant is attending with an appointed guardian, be sure they have the proper signed and notarized authorization from you (parent) to act as guardian.
  • Transponders: Escoremx will handle the electronic scoring and online live timing and results. For those who do not have transponders, they can be purchased or rented at the event. For questions regarding the transponders go to www.escoremx.com.
  • OMC has permanent restrooms and showers on the property.
  • Riverwind Casino/Hotel is just across the I-35 Interstate from OMC at the same exit.
