The 2011 World Mini Grand Prix is being presented in Mesquite, Nevada at the Mesquite MX Track. The track is located 65 miles North of the previous World Mini Grand Prix location in Las Vegas. Take Exit 122, turn right on Pioneer Blvd. Take a left at the first light on Hillside Drive. Stay on Hillside Drive until you reach Palms Golf Course Road. Take a right onto Peppermill Palms Blvd. and follow the road through the golf course.

Prepark area will be on the left side of the hill above the track and will open on Saturday, April 9th at 9:00 am. Overnight camping will be available at the track starting Monday, April 11th. Separate from the self contained camping fee there will be some electrical outlets available for purchase through the Mesquite MX Track. Call 702-885-7391 to purchase and reserve electrical.

The World Mini Grand Prix has always been a showplace for all riders to demonstrate their talents to the factories pertaining to sponsorship and support rides. The major motorcycle factories will be represented and looking forward to meeting you. There will also be over 60 NMA sponsor/concessionaires on hand during the entire event with various parts and accessories for sale. Bike numbers and background number plate material will be available at the graphic vendors.

THE EVENT IS SCHEDULED AS FOLLOWS:
Monday: Gates will open at 8:00am and close at midnight. This will allow those who are camping to get settled in early. For those who have not entered by mail on the enclosed form, POST ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN MONDAY ONLY FROM 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Tuesday: Gates will open at 6:30am and close at midnight. There will be a rider’s meeting at 8:00am followed by practice at 9:00am until its conclusion. The Tuesday practice will be for all classes (including Pee Wees) and will be the only practice session for the event. The practice schedule will be posted on Monday afternoon.

Wednesday: Gates will open a 6:30am. Racing begins at 8:00am. Classes scheduled to race on Wednesday will be posted on the line up board Tuesday afternoon.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Gates will open at 6:30am and racing will begin each day at 8:00am per the schedule of events posted on the line up board. World Championship Trophies will be awarded to amateur classes on Sunday as the final results are posted.

It is requested that you mail your entry on or before the mail entry postmark deadline of March 4th so we may return further information to you on the daily schedule and other matters concerning your participation. We look forward to seeing you in Mesquite for this great annual event.

ENTRY FORM INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

  1. Fill out form completely and PRINT CLEARLY. Enter all classes on one entry form. (Mail entries - must be postmarked by March 4, 2011) You must use your assigned NMA number.
  2. If you are not an NMA licensee, a number will be sent to you by return mail upon receipt of the completed entry form and license form.
  3. The NOVICE class is for riders who are classified by NMA as Novice or “C” and have not raced as Intermediate or “B” with any other organization.
  4. The INTERMEDIATE class is for riders who are classified by NMA as Intermediate or “B” and have not raced as Pro/Expert or “A” with any other organization.
  5. The PRO/EXPERT or “A” class is for riders who race NMA or any other organization in this highest advanced class.
  6. AGE GROUP CLASSES. The age group classes you enter is based on the age you are as of JANUARY 1, 2011. Minicycle age limit is through 16 years. No age limit for regular motorcycle classes, except the 125/250 Open Schoolboy through 16 and the new College Student Non Pro which is age 18-25.
  7. There will be a $6,000 Pro Purse as follows: In each of the 4 Pro Classes - 250 Stk. & Mod. and 450 Stk. & Mod, there will be a $1,000 pro purse. In the 30 Expert and Plus 40 Expert, providing there are 15 or more entered in these classes there will be a $1,000 Purse. If less than 15 entered, there will be 100% Pro Payback based on mail entry fee.
  8. NUMBER PLATES. Numbers must be at least 5” high, standard block lettering, black on white or white on black only.
